JPSS-4 Mission

Objectives and Applications

Meteorological, climatic, terrestrial, oceanographic, and solar-geophysical applications; global and regional environmental monitoring, search and rescue, data collection. Note that free-flyer options are being considered for the A-DCS4 and SARSAT instruments, though these are considered part of the JPSS system. Instrument complement for JPSS-3 and JPSS-4 remains TBD.
