PLATINO-HYPER Mission

Objectives and Applications

PLATINO-HYPER is a five satellite constellation providing very high spectral resolution imagery, enabling identification of spectral signatures and analysis of the chemical and physical properties of surfaces and materials. It is part of the IRIDE programme, which represents an end-to-end system, consisting of sub-constellations of Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites (upstream segment), ground-based operational infrastructure (downstream segment), and services tailored for the Italian Public Administration (service segment).
