Objectives and Applications
HISUI (Hyperspectral Imager Suite) is hyperspectral imaging system, deployed to the ISS (International Space Station) in December 2019 for a three year operational period. The instrument was developed by the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), and aims to aid the development of a hyperspectral remote sensing satellite through the manufacturing and in-flight performance verification of HISUI.
