Objectives and Applications
|
OMOTENASHI will demonstrate the technology for landing a 1 kg nano-lander on the Moon. The nano-lander and a 6 kg solid rocket motor will be ejected from the CubeSat. The nano-lander will take measurements of the lunar surface radiation environment and investigate soil mechanics using accelerometers.
