Objectives and Applications Aelous-2 will provide global wind profile measurements for Numerical Weather Prediction using backscattered UV laser light to measure Doppler shifts. It will also provide atmospheric aerosol profiles. In addition, Radio Occcultaion profiles will be obtained to determine atmospheric temperature and humidity profiles using Galileo, GPS and Beidou. LST is 18:00 (on an Ascending Node) ad at 06:00 (for a dawn-dusk orbit)
