Objectives and Applications
The HawaiiSat-1 mission aims to demonstrate the HU/HSFL's ability to design, launch, and operate satellites. This supports the Department of Defense Office of Responsive Space activities, as well as the research objectives of the University of Hawaii. The mission goal is to provide a remote sensing capability in LEO for advanced technology and science instrumentation.
