Objectives and Applications AeroCube-11/TOMSat (Testbed for Optical Missions Satellite) is a mission developed by the Aerospace Corporation in California to demonstrate the capability of smallsat sensors to perform comparably with larger flagship missions. Launched in December 2018, the AeroCube-11 consists of two nearly identical satellites which carry multispectral sensors, AeroCube-11A/TOMSat EagleScout, and AeroCube-11B/TOMSat R3 (Rapid + Responsive + Re-imagined).
