KySat-2 Mission

Objectives and Applications

The primary mission is educational outreach to both the university students who worked on the satellite and to K-12 students and teachers, ultimately providing opportunities for hands-on learning in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) disciplines. A goal of the KySat-2 project is to take a picture of the Earth while in orbit and return the picture to the ground.
