MIMOSA Mission

Objectives and Applications

The overall mission objective is to obtain total density distributions in space and time of the upper ionosphere by sensitive measurements of the non- gravitational orbital perturbations (atmospheric drag, solar radiation pressure). The data obtained will serve for analytical model improvements of the upper atmosphere.
