Chibis-M was a low-cost microsatellite mission of IKI-RAS (Space Research Institute-Russian Academy of Sciences), launched in November 2011. The mission objective was to search for universal laws governing transformation and dissipation of plasma-wave energy in the magnetosphere-ionosphere system. The mission was completed in October 2014.
