C/NOFS (Communication/Navigation Outage Forecast System) was a collaborative demonstational mission with the objective to forecast the presence of ionospheric irregularities in Earth's equatorial region that adversely impact satellite communication and navigation systems. The satellite was launched in April 2008 and the mission was completed in November 2015.
