UVNS (Sentinel-5)
Ultra-violet Visible Near-infrared Shortwave-infrared spectrometer
Being developed
Supporting atmospheric composition and air quality monitoring services. Measurements of atmospheric trace gases, primarily O3, NO2, SO2, HCHO, CH4 and CO.n/a
ARGUS 2000
ARGUS 2000
Approved
ARGUS 2000 can be utilized to map the spatial variation of greenhouse gases and to identify rocks and minerals with known reflectance spectra. Measurement interpretation requires spacecraft attitude information for an accurate geolocation of the spectrometer surface pixel, application of a radiative transfer retrieval algorithm and knowledge of surface cloud conditions and topography. Utilizing a near nadir-pointing configuration, the spectrometer can record infrared radiation emitted from the Earth's surface and atmosphere to space.n/a
UVN (Sentinel-4)
UV-visible- near infrared imaging spectrometer (Sentinel-4)
Proposed
Supporting atmospheric composition and air quality monitoring services.n/a
